JOHANNESBURG: Aspen Holdings is pleased to announce the appointment by its principal South African subsidiary of Noel Guliwe as Chief Executive: South Africa with effect from January 12, 2009.
“The rapid globalization of the Aspen Group has necessitated increased attention from Aspen’s senior executives. Consequently, this appointment has been made to ensure that the local business receives ongoing strategic focus and leadership in order that Aspen retains its position as the leading pharmaceutical company in South Africa,” said Stephen Saad, Aspen Group Chief Executive.
Noel has vast and credible experience in the pharmaceutical sector which spans nearly 20 years. He joins Aspen following a successful tenure as CEO and country President of Novartis South Africa. His qualifications include a B.Pharm and MBA from the University of the Witwatersrand.
