Aspen’s support of the Ennerdale community is not new, the Group has been working with schools in the community to donate sporting equipment and get the students more involved in various sports like soccer, cricket, and rugby. These facilities will help build vibrant and sustainable communities, a fundamental philosophy of where Aspen operates its businesses.
“Sports teach our children discipline and keeps them off the streets, the very streets which tempt alcohol, drug and substance abuse. One netball player, one less drug abuser” remarked the headmaster of Mid-Ennerdale Primary School.
This initiative underscores Aspen’s belief that investing in youth and sport helps strengthen communities and nurture future leaders.
