Now in its 15th year, the EY Excellence in Integrated Reporting Awards assesses the quality of integrated reports produced by the top 100 JSE-listed companies and is widely regarded as a benchmark for reporting excellence in South Africa. The awards recognise organisations that demonstrate strong integrated thinking, a clear strategic focus, and effective connectivity between strategy, performance, governance, risks and opportunities.
According to the judges, Aspen’s integrated report stood out for its ability to clearly explain how the Group generates and sustains value over time. The adjudicators also highlighted the detailed disclosure of material matters and their links to risks, opportunities and sustainability topics, as well as the integration of sustainability considerations into Aspen’s broader business strategy.
This achievement reflects the collective effort of colleagues across the business who contribute to the information, insights and governance processes that strengthen Aspen’s annual reporting. It demonstrates our commitment to transparency, accountability and communicating a balanced view of how we create value for patients, customers, employees, communities and shareholders.
